A climber in the San Diego 4.0 movement is a motivated emerging leader who is hungry to grow, learn new skills, and make a real impact. They are not waiting for permission. They are looking for the tools and pathways that help them rise in a world being reshaped by technology and empathy. San Diego 4.0 gives them that path through flexible online courses designed to build confidence, curiosity, and modern tech fluency.


Through these courses, climbers will learn how to use VR for Good to help seniors and communities feel seen, valued, and connected. They will explore augmented reality as a tool for storytelling, navigation, and hands-on support, both inside and outside the screen. And they will experiment with robotics to create smoother, safer, more efficient workplaces.
